New Pendants
I’ve been playing with my saw and torch. These new babies are available at Kick It! in Ballard. I am also venturing into the farmer’s market world, helping to launch the Georgetown Farmer’s Market on June 5th. Come see!

I got an intro soldering class from my fellow Equinox Studio artist Sherry, and my friend Holly is nice enough to let me mess around with her neglected torch. And Sherry also let me use my first jeweler’s saw, so I had to get one, of course. SO, a whole new world has just opened up. Sky’s the limit.
This is my first soldering project. Perhaps overly-ambitious, and thus definitely not perfect, but I am heartened by the success I did have.

Not too disappointing for a first attempt!
WATCH THIS SPACE for new and exciting soldery!
Also, I haven’t put anything new up in awhile. Been busy with other stuff. But I did pass these earrings on to Kick It! in Ballard. I was taking apart some watches, and I’d like to do more of this, but it’s difficult to find the cute little gears in any significant and affordable quantity.

So I was taking apart some old watches yesterday (who uses those to tell time, anymore?), to get at the guts, and I realized that they make perfect frames. So now those watches have been re-purposed. Pretty cool, I thought.
This website stuff is a slow process. I am in the process of adding the ability to use Paypal (and credit card!) as a payment option. Until I get this all sorted (maybe in time for xmas, maybe not), the Paypal thing might not be available for all items. In the meantime, or if you would rather just deal with me directly, I will take personal checks and money orders (or even cash, if you live near me) if you email me at alex...@gmail.com (remember that second “x”) with your desires.
Here’s some new stuff, for sale now at Kick It Boots and Stompwear, in Ballard.
